“It’s one of my favorite records this year” – said a buddy whose musical tastes I think are rad, regarding K. Flay‘s recent release Life as a Dog. The crowd congregating at The Demo undoubtedly would have said the same, with tons of hands raised and bodies bobbing along with the rapper/producer (apparently one of the top 10 you should know about).
Opening for K. Flay was the California crew, Night Riots, who certainly cast off a Disintegration-era Cure / M83 vibe run through rock filter. Great guys, who were also kind enough to take a quick stroll through the Grove for a few pre-show pics.
With a dimmer night light-wise, it seemed like a fun time to experiment with multiple-exposures, so enjoy the unorthodox set after the jump.
