A sold-out Scottrade Center filled to the brim with Radiohead fans looking forward to the weekend and an evening with the English experimental rock stars.
Only a few weeks detached from their last stop at The Gramophone, Other Lives brought a brooding set for early attendees. With dim lights to match the haunting mood of their songs, the Stillwater, OK band will probably be garnering a chunk of new fans as they continue to support Radiohead.

So how was that Radiohead show? At least for three songs (“Bloom”, “15 Step” and “Airbag”) it was pretty sweet, with Thom Yorke twitch-dancing his heart out under a magnificent set of rotating screens that dangled over the stage. While my 80-200mm helped to capture those members positioned in the back, those screens in combination with the high ceiling had me coming back to my 12-24mm over and over for some more interesting compositions.
Without a ticket, my time at the show was limited to the three-song photo pit limit and while it would have been great to stick around to catch the full show, I certainly can’t complain about getting the chance to shoot one of the biggest bands of my generation.
Shot for KDHX. Head over there to read Annah Bender‘s thoughts of the evening.
