With more and more dance acts coming through the Pageant, it was Rusko‘s turn to throw a weekday night party at the venue and the dancers came out to pack the pit and partake.
The English dubstep DJ/producer has his new album, Songs, coming out at the end of March, but it didn’t him from breaking out the bass lines and uptempo beats from past hits and upcoming remixes. Armed with his mixers and a bottle of vodka, Rusko was constantly bouncing around and making faces behind his station. And while the lights weren’t the most ideal for shooting, it’s impossible to not enjoy a show put on by a musician who loves playing as much as Mr. Mercer was that evening.

Random Notes
-Local DJ SlantE was spinning tunes for the crowd for well over two hours before Rusko’s set. While I showed up toward the end and didn’t take any shots, I’ll definitely give him credit for working such a long set.
-I think I only understood 10% of what Rusko said that night. Since he was always smiling, I’m assuming it was good stuff.
