With the Nocturnals laying down the hazy intro to “Oasis,” you could see Grace Potter slowly sauntering across the back of the stage and over to her trademark keyboard. And from the moment Potter began singing to join the rest of her band, you knew this group was absolutely built to be an attraction on any festival circuit.
The Good: Second time seeing the band this year and they’ve been incredible both times. The band’s chemistry really stuck out to me this time and I enjoyed seeing their interactions with each other on the fly. Grace Potter really knows how to work a crowd.
The Bad: A strange miscount of songs caused the photographers to be booted out of the pit after the second song.
The Irrelevant: Apparently Nelly was quoted towards the end of her set as well as a request for panties to be thrown on the stage.
