Random Notes:

-Swearin’ was mostly noisy punk, but the Philly quartet featured a healthy dose of downtempo songs mid-set which made me take notice with their guy/girl vocal play.

-Brian Benton (KDHX) and Dave Geeting (RFT Music) have the written documentation for the evening.

-Japandroids’ drummer Dave Prowse broke his kick drum minutes into the set. Also minutes into the set, I felt the spray of sweat from guitarist Brian King’s moppy hair as he bounced around the stage.

-Before the show, I overheard the band asking if they could get a copy of the poster designed by Jason Potter of Bruiser Queen.  (Top right corner of the picture above.) Cool story, bro.
