I’m new to the Indianapolis ensemble, Margot and the Nuclear So & So’s, but the sense I get is that the current incarnation on tour for Buzzard is a bit different than previous versions, with a movement from chamber pop to a rougher blues-folk sound. I found myself more engaged in Margot when frontman Richard Edwards growled his way through songs, so I suppose the new formula worked for me.
For long-time Margot fans, do you like the newer material?
